end the

filibuster.

A project of

It’s simple: none of the progressive issues that Democratic candidates and congressional leaders are discussing today will become law unless we do something about the filibuster. If Mitch McConnell expects to be the Grim Reaper of progressive policies, the scythe he’ll use is the Senate filibuster. Unless we change the rules.

So, where do the 2020 candidates stand on ending the filibuster?

Good question. We know you're working hard to make 2020 an election about big, bold ideas. We've seen a lot of them. But plans are just a pipedream if we don't get serious about the path to victory. Every time a candidate talks about their policy vision, your question to them should be: how do you plan to get it done?

If their answer isn't, "end the filibuster," we need to call them out. The truth is we get nothing done in 2021 if we take the Senate unless we end the filibuster.

Find out where the 2020ers stand below. If they're one of the champions, thank them! If they need a little work on their position or are against ending the filibuster, demand they do better and tell them you're paying attention.
